If you're dying to summon the tales of our Christmas Haunting mini season beyond the ghost light of the silver screen, back to the page from whence they came, join us by the guttering (fire-proof) candle light on Thursday 26 November.
Creaky doors will open at 19:00, where our nefarious bar team will be shaking up special 'Corpse Reviver' cocktails, the first of which will be included in your ticket.
From 19:30, the most macabre members of our team shall be sharing a selection of short ghost stories and eerie excerpts for your displeasure.
At 20:30, we will head into the screen for the 1944 creepy classic, The Uninvited. Rich in atmosphere, the film was ground-breaking for the seriousness with which it treated the haunted house genre, and it remains an elegant and atmospheric experience, featuring a classic score by Victor Young. The screening is expected to finish around 22:20.
Tickets for the event are £18.50 each, and are restricted to 2 per member - meaning you can bring a guest or ghost along. The ticket includes access to the pre-screening event, a complimentary cocktail (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available), and an allocated seat for the screening.
