From novels to film, summertime has proved fertile ground for stories, settings and sensation. Whether this time of year makes you feel sexy, daring and open to new experiences, or sweaty, oppressed and melancholy, there’s no doubt you have your own perspective on this most extreme of seasons.
For the second edition of our annual Summertime Sadness series, we’re adding a new element – a writing workshop, open and friendly to all who write or want to write. We’ll be sharing our favourite summer writing and using summer-set films as a starting point for some writing prompts.
Join us in the upstairs bar of the garden cinema, for a Saturday morning writing session.
