To help you cool off during what's proving to be a scorching summer, we're partnering up again with our friends from The Tea Makers of London for a refreshing ice tea tasting on Sunday 2 August. They will take us through a selection of their teas that can be enjoyed over ice, and teach you the best ways of cold-brewing the perfect cuppa.
After the tasting there will be a pop-up shop, giving you a chance to buy their teas so you can try your hand at making a delicious chilled beverage at home.
Tickets for the ice tea tasting are £12.50 each, and restricted to 2 per member, meaning you can bring a fellow tea enthusiast along. They include the tea tasting, as well as a glass of your favourite ice tea from our summer menu to enjoy after the tasting finishes.
Optional - but recommended - is sticking around for the screening of Desperately Seeking Susan, which is part of this year's Members' Summer Selection. This film was suggested by member Christopher Voisey, who describes it as 'a film that will forever mean late-summer ’85.'
The screening will start at 16:00, and a combo discount is available when adding both a ticket for the ice tea tasting and for the screening to your basket, which will reduce the film ticket price to just £8.50.
Event timings:
13:00 Doors open
13:15 Guided ice tea tasting with The Tea Makers of London
15:15 Pop-up tea shopping
16:00 Optional screening of Desperately Seeking Susan
